Suggested Use

Gently remove excess water from your hair after washing and conditioning it. Apply to the entire hair length, from the bottom up, skipping the roots.

If hyaluronic acid is a humectant, will it draw moisture from my hair?

No, it will draw moisture from the air and humidity rather than your own hair. It doesn't steal moisture, rather it seals it and locks it so that it is maintained in the hair.

Will it cause irritation or side effects?

No, hyaluronic acid is safe to use for your hair. Since it is a natural component of your body, it has a very low chance of causing irritability or any unwanted side effects since it's familiar to our bodies. Your body won't treat it as a foreign body and react to it negatively by trying to expel it.

What is the scent?

It has an apple scent.

What is the difference between the Curly-Girl Leave In and this product?

The Leave In Conditioner has a cream-like consistency and provides deeper hydration. Ideal for thicker hair and tighter curls. Whereas the HA Detangling Spray is lightweight and ideal for those with finer hair or looser curls.

Will it weigh my hair down or make it greasy?

No, thanks to a blend of fast-absorbing ingredients and the moisture-binding properties of Hyaluronic Acid, this spray will provide a lightweight yet effective hydration without weighing hair down or making it greasy.

Can I use it on dry hair?

We recommend spraying throughout clean and damp hair focusing on mid-length to ends, avoiding the roots. To uniformly disperse the product, use the Kerotin Detangler Brush. Proceed to style as usual. For thicker, curlier or coarser hair, it can be applied to dry hair for added hydration and frizz-control.

Is this product safe to use heat/curling iron after application?

Yes, it contains Hydrolyzed Barley Protein as a thermal protection ingredient, shielding your hair from heat damage due to the high Proline content.

Works Nicely

I used Kerotin Hyaluronic Acid Detangling Spray & Kerotin Extensive Thickening Treatment. I used a few sprays of each and brushed through my hair. I then dried my hair. I have naturally curly hair and it is always frizzy and unruly. This completely does away with my frizz it also gives my hair body that it needs. It leaves my hair smelling good.

Really lightweight

As someone with thin & fine hair I struggle finding a lightweight daily detangler or leave-in conditioner that doesn’t weigh down my hair. This is one of two products I’ve found in over a year that accomplished that. I can use it everyday, and yes it does detangle very well. Also love that it’s a silicone-free heat protectant for blow drying my hair. Simply amazing!

Wowza!

I've used this heat protecting detangler for 3 washes and WOW I'm instantly impressed & it's definitely going to stay in my short list. This product is easy to use. It's light for my fine hair. Left my hair well hydrated & shiny. I've used it in place of my leave-in and it melted into my hair for easy detangling. It doesn't feel producty either. I love that it is high protein...my curls live protein. I would highly recommend the purchase! Thanks once again Kerotin for an outstanding product!
