How To Maintain and Protect Styling

Here's how to protect and maintain styling:

Don’t let frizzy hair ruin your style or your day!
Frizzy hair is thirsty hair, and it’s a lack of moisture in the hair. When your hair becomes “thirsty,” it seeks moisture from the air around it. This is why humidity worsens frizz. Make sure hair is moisturized to avoid frizziness and susceptibility to humidity.

Break up with sulfates!
Look for a sulfate-free shampoo. Unfortunately, sulfates are commonly found in shampoo because it creates that lathering wash associated with cleanliness, but it’s harmful to hair. Sulfates strip hair of natural oils, drying your hair out with each wash and creating more dreaded dryness and essentially frizziness. Choose a sulfate-free shampoo and keep your hair hydrated and frizz-free.

Caress, don’t be distressed!
Caress your hair with the right conditioner. Conditioner is the easiest way to bring moisture to dry, damaged, and frizzy hair. Using a hydrating conditioner infused with keratin, protein, and natural oils make all the difference.
Keratin: rebuild damaged hair
Protein: adds shine and controls frizz
Natural Oils: absorb into hair easier than synthetic oils.

Don't pull; handle your hair with care!
Your hair is like a delicate flower, so reach for fabric hair ties (scrunchies) instead of small hair elastics. Scrunchies are less damaging to your tips, and they do an excellent job of securing your style without tugging and creating breakage.

Touch up with a product, not heat!
You never know when you can run into an ex, so make sure you look your best and touch up your style by applying a serum or mist to prolong style, protect against the environment, and to fight frizz. If necessary, sprits a lightweight hairspray for an added hold to stay looking flawless.

Remember, every hair journey starts with you and ends with you.
