Smiles In The Making
As a brand we want more, we want to do more, and we want to be the reason why others have more. This is the reason why we have decided to support an incredible school in India, Kollur, that we had the pleasure of visiting and meeting with the children personally.
A Community and School In Need
After meeting these children, we decided as a team; it was our duty to better their lives. We wanted to provide the opportunity for less privileged children in the area to receive a quality education safely and consistently. Kollur is a school located in the Mahbubnagar District of Telangana India. The Kollur school is, unfortunately, located in an area that is considered to be a high risk for human sex trafficking. After receiving this information and upon visiting the school for the first time, it was evident that the school was in need in more ways than one.
The Goal
After meeting with the children and hearing the stories of the struggles to receive primary education, it was apparent the school and community would benefit from having a means of transportation. A form of transportation soon became the goal. It is with great pleasure and pride that we say that the Kollur school has received two brand new school buses on behalf of the Kerotin Family.

Making A Difference
You see more than just smiles; you see changed lives. Kollur has received many requests to enroll students upon the arrival of their two new school buses. The school has reached full capacity and is currently using hallways and outdoor space to conduct classes. This new form of transportation allowed more impoverished children who lived further from the school and could not afford transportation to Kollur the opportunity to receive an education. The addition of two new buses has also granted children who were field workers the chance to stop working and earn an education and work towards a brighter future.

Next Steps
Kollur is currently in the process of constructing a second level to accommodate for the demand of education within the community. Kollur school is hoping to obtain two more school buses in the future to continue changing the lives of the children and slowly but surely end the surrounding issues within the community.
